Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes. PraveensForge QR is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you create or download.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. These are static QR codes: your link or text is encoded directly in the pattern, so the code works for as long as the destination exists.

Can I put my logo in the middle of a QR code?

Yes. Upload your logo in the Logo tab. PraveensForge QR switches error correction to High (about 30% recovery) and limits the logo size so the code stays scannable.

Which format should I download, PNG or SVG?

Use PNG for websites, slides and social posts. Use the high-resolution PNG or the SVG for print, because SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size.

What size should a printed QR code be?

Keep it at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) for close scanning, and larger for posters viewed from a distance. Always leave the quiet zone (white border) around the code.

Why won't my QR code scan?

The most common causes are low contrast between the colours, a light foreground on a dark background, a logo that is too large, or a missing quiet zone. PraveensForge QR warns you about each of these before you download.

What is QR code error correction?

Error correction stores extra data inside the code so it can still be read when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered. There are four levels: Low (about 7%), Medium (15%), Quartile (25%) and High (30%). Higher levels make the pattern denser. When you add a logo, error correction is set to High.

Can I change the link after printing?

Not with a static code, because the link is part of the pattern itself. If you expect the destination to change, point the code at a page you control and update that page instead.

Do the QR codes work on all phones?

Yes. The codes follow the standard QR format, so they work with the built-in camera app on iPhone and Android and with any QR scanner app.

Do you store my links or logos?

No. Your QR code is generated in your browser, and the links, text and logos you use are not sent to us.

These terms govern your use of PraveensForge QR (qr.praveensforge.co.in), operated by PraveensForge. By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

PraveensForge QR lets you create QR codes from links and text, customise their appearance, add a logo and download PNG or SVG files. The service is free, needs no account, and may change, be limited or be discontinued at any time without notice.

2. Your content

You are responsible for everything you encode or upload, including links, text and logos. By using the service you confirm that you have the right to use that content, including any trademarks or logos, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to create QR codes that:

link to phishing, malware, scams or other fraudulent or deceptive content;
impersonate another person, brand or organisation;
promote illegal activity or content that is harmful, hateful, or exploits minors;
violate any applicable law or regulation.

You also agree not to:

overload, scrape or automate requests to the service;
probe, attack or interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
resell or offer the service as an API to third parties without our written permission.

We may block access from anyone who breaks these rules.

4. Ownership

Your QR codes are yours. You may use the codes and files you generate for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, with no attribution required and no watermark added.

The PraveensForge QR website, its design, software, name and logo belong to PraveensForge and may not be copied or reused without permission. “QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.

5. Test before you print

We warn you about common scanning problems such as low contrast, oversized logos and missing quiet zones, but we can't guarantee that every code will scan on every device, at every size or in every printing process. Always test your code with more than one device before printing or distributing it. We are not responsible for print runs, packaging or materials produced with a code that doesn't scan or points to the wrong destination.

6. Privacy

QR codes are generated in your browser, and the content you encode is not sent to us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PraveensForge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your currency).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify PraveensForge against claims, losses and costs arising from the content you encode or upload, or from your breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
