Features
A free QR code generator built for brands
Make QR codes that match your brand and still scan on every phone. Everything you need is free, with no account and no watermark.
Add your logo
Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo and place it in the centre. Error correction is raised to High automatically so the code still scans.
Brand colours and styles
Pick any foreground and background colour, choose square, rounded or dot modules, and get a warning if the contrast is too low to scan.
Print-ready downloads
Download a PNG for screens, a 4096 px PNG for print, or a vector SVG that scales to posters and packaging without blurring.
Private by design
Codes are made in your browser, so the content you encode is not sent to us. No account, no tracking links and no watermark. Your QR code points straight at your content.
Static codes that never expire
The link is encoded directly in the code, so it keeps working forever. There's no redirect service that can shut down or charge you later.
Live preview
Every change updates the preview instantly, including the QR version, module count and error-correction level, so you know what you'll get.
How it works
How to make a QR code with a logo

Tips
How to make sure your QR code scans
Most QR codes that fail do so for the same few reasons. Check these before you send anything to print.
Keep the contrast high
Scanners read the difference between dark and light modules. A dark colour on a white or very light background works best. Pale greys, yellows and pastel blues often fail in dim light, even if they look fine on your screen.
Don't make the logo too big
A logo covers part of the pattern, and the code only survives because of error correction. Keep the logo to roughly a fifth of the code's width and leave a small margin around it. If a test scan is slow, make the logo smaller before changing anything else.
Leave the quiet zone alone
The empty border around a QR code tells the scanner where the code starts. Don't crop it off, and don't place text, lines or busy photos right against the edge. Four modules of clear space is the standard.
Shorter links make simpler codes
Every extra character adds modules to the pattern. A short URL gives a lower QR version with bigger modules, which scans faster and stays readable when printed small. Remove tracking parameters you don't need before you generate the code.
Test before you print
Scan the downloaded file with at least two phones, ideally one iPhone and one Android, and from the distance people will actually stand. Print one test copy on the real paper or material, since glossy and textured surfaces can change how the code reads.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. PraveensForge QR is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you create or download.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: your link or text is encoded directly in the pattern, so the code works for as long as the destination exists.
Can I put my logo in the middle of a QR code?
Yes. Upload your logo in the Logo tab. PraveensForge QR switches error correction to High (about 30% recovery) and limits the logo size so the code stays scannable.
Which format should I download, PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites, slides and social posts. Use the high-resolution PNG or the SVG for print, because SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size.
What size should a printed QR code be?
Keep it at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) for close scanning, and larger for posters viewed from a distance. Always leave the quiet zone (white border) around the code.
Why won't my QR code scan?
The most common causes are low contrast between the colours, a light foreground on a dark background, a logo that is too large, or a missing quiet zone. PraveensForge QR warns you about each of these before you download.
What is QR code error correction?
Error correction stores extra data inside the code so it can still be read when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered. There are four levels: Low (about 7%), Medium (15%), Quartile (25%) and High (30%). Higher levels make the pattern denser. When you add a logo, error correction is set to High.
Can I change the link after printing?
Not with a static code, because the link is part of the pattern itself. If you expect the destination to change, point the code at a page you control and update that page instead.
Do the QR codes work on all phones?
Yes. The codes follow the standard QR format, so they work with the built-in camera app on iPhone and Android and with any QR scanner app.
Do you store my links or logos?
No. Your QR code is generated in your browser, and the links, text and logos you use are not sent to us.
