• Your QR content stays in your browser. The links, text, settings and logos you enter are processed on your device to create your QR code. The website is designed so that this content is not transmitted to us.

Content you enter into the generator

The preview, generation and downloads all run in your web browser using code delivered by the website. The URL or text you encode, your design choices and any logo image you select are processed locally on your device, and the files you download are created on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to this content.

Your browser, operating system, browser extensions or device software are outside our control and may have their own access to what you view or type. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms.

Technical information collected when you visit

Like any website, delivering pages to you requires your device to connect to the servers that host the site. When this happens, our hosting and content delivery providers may automatically process standard technical information, such as:

• your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• browser type, device type and operating system;
• the pages and files requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request.

This information is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems. It does not include the content you encode, because that content is not sent. Websites or services that a QR code links to are operated by third parties and are not covered by this policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Technical information described above may be processed by our service providers on our behalf, and may be disclosed if required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect the security of the website, our rights, or the safety of others.

International processing

Our service providers may process technical information in countries other than the one you are in. Where this happens, it is handled under the safeguards those providers apply.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the website, including serving it over an encrypted connection and restricting which external resources it can load. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
